Bird Log is a brand new software for anyone interested in recording their sightings, from serious watchers to occasional spotters. The database is an easy to use system which records all the details of your bird sightings, and has the facility to store pictures of your sightings.

The software has an easy to use recording system that captures all relevant details, and uses dropdown system to record your common information such as locations, counties, and bird species. Each record can store up to three images of your sighting.

The software is pre programmed with over 500 common species found in the UK, as well as 175 of the most popular reserves. Don't worry if your location or species does not appear, a simple to use entry system can add your location or bird species in seconds. Add anywhere you want, even your back garden!

Recording your sightings is only one of many facilities this software offers. You can browse through all your sightings in detail at any time.

The software has the ability to produce an individual report on any sighting you have made, the report can be printed, or even exported to adobe or excel to share with others!

System Requirements

You need a computer running Windows XP or Windows Vista, the software is not compatible with earlier Microsoft PC's or Macs/Linux.

You need Microsoft Dotnet Framework 3.5 installed on your PC. This is included with the software if you do not have this, and needs 250 MB disk space.

The Bird Log software requires 15 MB of free disk space.

The item is delivered by first class post on a cd rom.
